The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a gripping narrative showcasing divine entities, fiends, and dark forces increasing in strength within the city.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of heroes who will branch out from the central cast to begin their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear unsuited, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the group knows exactly where to go next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death started the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and stealing all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the group access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The healer betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to head to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Fans can expect discovering which players will be in which group in the season’s concluding setup installment, released on October 24.
