I will dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
